Die Venus I The Venus

Ein Schönheitsideal der Antike und die Göttin der Liebe tritt in Erscheinung. Die jungen Generation bleibt ungestört und regungslos mit Blick auf Ihr Smartfon sitzen. Während es bei der Venus von Milo viele Rätsel über den abgebrochenen Arm gab und was sie in den Händen wohl trug, ist hier offensichtlich.
An ancient ideal of beauty and the goddess of love appear. The younger generation remains undisturbed and motionless while looking at their smartphone. While there was a lot of mystery about the Venus de Milo’s broken arm and what she was carrying in her hands, this is obvious.

Ein Kind im strahlenden grünen Neonlicht, dass über das Smartfon vernetzt ist. Wie hypnotisiert durch das Medium schaut das Mädchen auf den Bildschirm. Die griechische Sage Ikarus, der beim Höhenflug der Sonne zu nahe kam um die Götter herausforderte und abstürzte ist hier ein Sinnbild als weibliche Gestalt. Die Flügel erinnern an Zeichnungen von Leonardos Flugkörper und den Traum vom Fliegen der Menschheit.
The Greek legend Icarus, who came too close to the sun when he was soaring to challenge the gods and crash, is a symbol here as a female figure. The wings are reminiscent of drawings of Leonardo’s missile and mankind’s dream of flying.

Die Backsteinmauer ist mit einer leuchtend roten Farbe gemalt, die aus der gegenwärtigen Zeit stammt. Schon durch die klassische Bild-Kompostion mit den goldenen Schnitt und aus 2 Menschengruppen die sich in die Fläche ausrichten, wirkt das Ölbild harmonisch und ausgeglichen. Mit dem Lebensbaum im Malstil des Manierismus bilden die Figuren und der naturalistische Baum eine Silhouette. Der transparente Stoff der den Lebensbaum schützt, wird von den Kindern wie ein Mahnmal behütet. Alles scheint still zu stehen, selbst die Zeit.

Der Fluxus-Künstler Nam June Paik hat mit seinem TV-Budda ein Objekt Trouvé für eine Video-Installation geschaffen das von einer mystischen Transzendenz ausging. Das Kind in der Antike mit einem Notebook sind Verknüpfungen von Zeitsprüngen, die ebenso malerisch dargestellt sind. Das Gemälde wurde in der Kunstmesse B.AGL (Berlin Artist go live) in Postbahnhof Berlin (Artweek) ausgestellt.
The Fluxus artist Nam June Paik has created an object Trouvé for a video installation with his TV budda, which was based on a mystical transcendence. The child in antiquity with a notebook are links between leaps in time,, which are also pictorially depicted. The painting was exhibited at the B.AGL art fair in Postbahnhof Berlin (Artweek).

Hier deuten Kinder am Steg auf eine in sich verklärende Nachwirkung ihres Verlustes hin. Sie sind in sich verschlossen. In einer Welt wo eine Zeitenwende Ihnen bevorsteht, fällt der Blick tief in das Ungewisse. Eine neue Welt ohne Rückblick in Vergangenheit. Das Ölgemälde wurde in der Kunstmesse „kunst-direkt“ in der Rheingoldhalle Mainz präsentiert. Kunst kaufen konnte man hier und direkt vom Künstler ein Kunstobjekt erwerben. Auch in der Mainzer Markthalle am Domplatz war es ausgestellt.
Here children on the jetty point to a transfigured after-effect of their loss. They are closed in on themselves. In a world where a turning point is imminent, you look deep into the unknown. A new world without looking back into the past. The oil painting was presented at the art fair “kunst-direkt” in the Rheingoldhalle Mainz. You could buy art here and purchase an art object directly from the artist. It was also on display in the Mainz market hall on Domplatz.
Melancolia

Dürers Engel aus Melancolia ist nach den betenden Hände ein Meisterwerk der Kupferstiche. Der Engel ist hier aber in keiner komplexen Ikonographie an historische Ereignisse verknüpft, aber der Gemütszustand „unfähig etwas zu tun“ bleibt. Ein Bild das vielleicht eine bevorstehend Apokalypse oder ein neue Welt der Zeitenwende prophezeit?
Dürer’s angel from Melancolia is, after the praying hands, a masterpiece of copper engravings. The angel is not linked to any complex iconography of historical events, but the state of mind “unable to do anything” remains.

Ursprünglich wurde ein Triptychon für Altarbilder genutzt. Hier bei dem dreiteiligen Tafelbild entsteht ein Panorama von 4,50m. Das trübe Meerwasser verbindet die Formate zu einem großformatigen Gesamtbild. Träumende Figuren die sich gegenseitig nicht wahrnehmen und dem Schicksal überlassen sind, sind mit dem Element des Wassers verbunden. Eine meditative Stimmung wie das dahintreiben im Wasser lassen den Betrachter wie ein Bilderrätsel zurück.
Originally a triptych was used for altar paintings. Here, with the three-part panel painting, a panorama of 4.50 m is created. The cloudy sea water combines the formats into a large-format overall picture. Dreaming figures who do not perceive each other and are left to fate are connected to the element of water. A meditative mood like floating in the water leaves the viewer like a picture puzzle.

An den zerbrochenen Säule lehnen sich Figuren an. Der verfallene Tempel ist von ruhenden alten Menschen besetzt der im Zentrum des Gemäldes steht. Während sich die atektonische Architektur aufzulösen scheint, ist der Malstil der Sakralbauten und der figurativen Körper eher malerisch dargestellt. Ein klassische Kunst die sich allen Kompositionen fügt, ist hier außen vor. Nur die Zentralperspektive wie in der Renaissance, führen den Blick zum Horizont.
Figures lean against the broken column. The ruined temple is occupied by resting old people who stand in the center of the painting. While the atectonic architecture seems to be dissolving, the painting style of the sacred buildings and the figurative bodies is more painterly represented. A classic art that fits in with all compositions is left out here. Only the central perspective, as in the Renaissance, lead the view to the horizon.

Im Nebelmeer sind vereinzelte Menschen und deren Typus mit einer tiefsinnigen Gebärde schon mit einem Blick zu erfassen. Wird der Betrachter mit einer scheinbar archaischen Wirklichkeit oder surrealen Welt konfrontiert?

Anfang vom Ende | The Beginning of the End

Die Gestalt mit erhobenem Arm und geneigten Kopf, wirkt mit der kniende Position instabil. Die illusionistische Funktion der Figuren sind der realen Welt vollkommen entrückt. Die Gestalten in einer zukunftweisenden surrealen Welt, stellen etwas unfassbares dar. Die Offenheit und Geschlossenheit eines harmonischen Bildes wird durch kubische antike Elemente gestützt.Mit dem Zitat von Rousseau „ich sehe was Du machen willst, du willst die Antike in die Moderne verwandeln“ trifft hier nicht in der Komposition oder Bildgestaltung zu. Vielmehr ist es die bildhafte Darstellung mit dem Bildtitel „Anfang vom Ende“, die dem Bild einen antiken und futuristischen Anschein geben.

Die Weltchronik schildert die Weltgeschichte von der „Erschaffung“ über die Antike bis in die jeweilige Gegenwart bis hin zum Weltuntergang oder das Weltende. Der Apfel der Erkenntnis wird mit dem Orakel zu einem Sinnbild. Diese symbolhafte Bedeutung wird durch eine kommende Menschengestalt mit Maske gestört. In einer Pandemie wie die Coronazeit sieht man im Hintergrund die vom Virus Infizierten Körperformen.
The world chronicle describes world history from “creation” through antiquity to the present day to the end of the world or the end of the world. The apple of knowledge becomes a symbol with the oracle. This symbolic meaning is disturbed by a coming human figure wearing a mask. In a pandemic like the Corona time, you can see the body shapes infected by the virus in the background.

Eine Weltuntergangsstimmung oder eine Neue Welt mit einem Neuanfang in der Coronazeit? Der formale und farbliche Grundcharakter des Ölbildes ist grün, wo eine konturartige Venus mit rot leuchtenden Haaren von einem Strudel erfaßt wird. Wellenförmige Linien wie umschließen die „Geburt der Venus“? An der linken Hand hält der Finger eine Maske fest und deutet auf einen Virusepedemie hin. Ein Blick in eine ungewisse Zukunft.

Der eurasische Holarctic-Rabe erkundete schon vor mehr als 2 Millionen Jahren unsere Welt. Raben wurden gejagt und verfolgt, dennoch begleiten die Rabenvögel die Menschheit bis heute und sind durch Sagen und Mythen geprägt. Über einer lichten unscheinbaren Welt schwebt der Rabe hoch oben über die vernebelte Wolkenlandschaft und prophezeit die Zukunft, als Verkünder der Wahrheit oder Wegweiser.
The Eurasian Holarctic raven explored our world more than 2 million years ago. Ravens were hunted and persecuted, but the corvids still accompany mankind to this day and are shaped by legends and myths. Above a light, inconspicuous world, the raven hovers high above the misty cloudscape and prophesies the future, as a herald of the truth or a signpost.
